A sermon by Don Cade on Psalm 73. It is usually through a crisis of faith that the Lord reveals to us the idolatrous affections of our heart. Our discontentment and animosities will often lead us straight to the idolatrous affections of our heart. It is usually not until we see our own need for God’s mercies that the affections of our hearts are drawn back to Him. When our heart’s affections are being fulfilled by our Lord, He is what we see, hear, and talk about.
