A sermon on John 18:28-40. When Jesus was asked by Pilate if he were a King, Jesus said He was but His kingdom is not of this world. Barabbas needs to be understood as a freedom fighter acting in resistance to the occupying force. Jesus in contrast appeared to do nothing. But Jesus’ primary concern is the truth. Jesus is the truth.
